Come Ride With UsWe love working with and developing riders of all ages and abilities! From beginners who are just learning to be around horses, all the way to riders wishing to compete on the A circuit, we welcome you to visit and learn more about our unique program.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Blue Skies is volunteer-led, and all families are invited and expected to participate in our volunteer program at whatever capacity their lifestyle allows. Students are invited to participate in local horse shows, clinics, schooling shows, trail rides, and many other fun activities. Each of our lesson horses have come to us through rescue, rehab, or donation, and they provide opportunities for all riding levels. The horses in our program have jobs based on their riding ability, temperament, and training level. Riders are matched to our horses based on their own level, commitment to riding, and personality. We strive to bring horses and people together in a healthy, fun, and educational environment, and to provide opportunities that help each rider (and their families!) grow. |
Our philosophy is simple. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn to ride in a safe and fun community of riders. Blue Skies riders are taught solid foundational skills, which helps to ensure that they are always fully prepared for the next step in their horsemanship journey.
