At Blue Skies Riding Academy we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn to ride in a safe and fun community of riders. We believe in teaching solid basic skills, ensuring that riders are always fully prepared for the next step. Riders learn gaits, position, control of the horse, finesse, and jumping as they progress. We cater to the first time rider through riders wishing to compete on the local and national show circuits. Students are invited to participate in our volunteer program, local horse shows, clinics, schooling shows, trail rides, and many other fun activities.
Our 20+ lesson horses provide opportunities for all riding levels. Each of our horses have come to us through rescue, rehab, the racetrack, or were donated to our program. We believe in giving all horses a job, and each of our horses in our program have jobs based on their riding ability, temperament, and training level. Our riders are matched to our horses based on their own level, commitment to riding, and personality. We strive to bring horses and people together in a healthy, fun, and educational environment. |
