Conveniently located in Emerson, GA just 15 minutes north of Kennesaw, Blue Skies is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality horsemanship instruction at a reasonable cost as well as provide a home for unwanted horses throughout the Southeast. Our lesson program caters to all abilities and riding levels, including students who want to ride as a hobby as well as those who look to compete at the local and national level. Our program consists of 20+ lesson horses, which provide a great platform for our students to flourish at any level. Our horses come from all different backgrounds, many are rescued, come off the race track, or are donated to our riding program. Students in our program have the option to learn at any level they desire, whether they choose to come once a week and enjoy their riding time, or wish to pursue horseback riding in a competitive atmosphere, we provide both!
Our farm is here to provide a place for horses and people to come together and enjoy community, family, nature, and life. We do more than just lessons, we do family, and our wish is to provide a welcoming space for anyone wanting to learn more about horses. For the horses who need a soft place to land, we provide that too. Our horses come from all walks of life, some good, some life threatening, but when they come here, they are here for life. We provide sanctuary to over 10 horses, some ex lesson horses, some just needing retirement. Our farm provides home to 40 horses on a regular basis, each one cared for with the utmost attention.
